Hexagon, diamond, square, circle, triangle, heart, star, oval, octagon, pentagon, cross, teardrop, clover, arrow, flower, and moon.
Two-Element Patterns
Combine two different shapes in one pattern. Distribute them as a checkerboard or in alternating rows — for more complex designs.
Frame & Panel
Every pattern has a continuous frame. The frame width is fully configurable, and elements at the edge can optionally be clipped or left whole.
Pattern Design Tips
- Spacing vs. element size: The spacing between elements should be at least the diameter of your end mill so the webs between the cutouts can be milled cleanly.
- Frame width: A frame that is too thin can break during milling. For wood and MDF, at least 5–8 mm is recommended.
- Clip elements: Enable this option to also show partially visible elements at the edge — it gives a more organic look.
- Two elements: The checkerboard distribution works especially well with similarly sized shapes (e.g. hexagon + circle). With very different shapes, the row distribution can look more interesting.
- Offset grid (hex): Gives a hexagon pattern its classic honeycomb effect. With other shapes it creates a denser packing than the square grid.

Ventilation Grilles
Circles or hexagons on a rectangular panel – a classic for enclosure ventilation or decorative grilles.
Wall Decoration
Two combined shapes (e.g. star + diamond in a checkerboard) on a large panel – visually striking and unique.
Lampshade
A circular panel with teardrop or flower patterns – casts attractive shadows when light shines through.
Privacy Screen / Room Divider
Several panels with hexagon or clover patterns side by side – a classic privacy solution for balconies or rooms.
