Tips for Best Results
- Image quality: Use high-resolution images with clean edges. Logos and lettering work especially well.
- Threshold: Start with the default (128) and adjust the value until the desired details become visible.
- Contrast: Increase the contrast for images with a narrow tonal range to get cleaner edges.
- Smoothing: Higher values produce smoother curves but can lose fine detail. Lower values preserve detail but may look jagged.
- Photos: Photographs work less well than graphics. Use high-contrast subjects where possible, or boost the contrast before converting.
